What now?

I actually finished a knitted project, the geology shawl. Now I am pondering which wip to take up. I just ordered purple yarn for a sweater that Lizzy is wishing for, too look like the princess in Adventure Time. And I ordered some more shine sport to make the ripple blanket more cohesive. I decided not to use every color I have and damm the way it is going to look after all. No surprise here.

These are the blocks for my virtual quilting bee. Only 2 more to go, and The last one was published yesterday. I held off on sewing the last but one so I could make sure that all colors are equally represented.

Star Surround Quilt-Along

I saw this quilt along from Happy Quilting by chance a couple of weeks ago and thought that I had just the fabric for that.
That turned out to be not quite true, because I did not like my original idea too much, but I found enough in my stash that with some improvising I only needed to get 2 more half yard cuts and some more background fabric.

Here are my 9 star centers, bad lightning, but I want to link this tonight.

Something new

Thought I start my own blog to take advantage of the many give always in the quilter blogosphere. It took me awhile to come up with a catchy name, and this is quite appropriate (just ask the water hose at the barn or my kitchen floor.  Mainly I am hoping to document my crafty projects (many) and exercise adventures (not enough). I am definitely klutzing around with the technical aspect of blogging, and the fact that I forgot my reading glasses at work does not help.
